Resiliency is the ability to smile and laugh, to be full of humor, despite the disappointments, hardships, and unhappy circumstances. It is the capacity to recover quickly from difficulties or toughness. And Filipinos are born as resilient people. It is a fact that every human being knows.
It is just recently when the typhoon "Haiyan" of local name "Yolanda" has brought misery in the lives of many Filipino families due to the devastation this typhoon has caused. Filipinos suffered from anxiety and post-traumatic stress despite being resilient. It is true that we, Filipinos, still have the courage to put a smile on our faces despite having so many problems. But there are some point in our lives that because of the extreme pain that we carry inside us, we can't even smile. We can't even have a reason to continue and keep moving. But, as they say, we can't always be negative because there is still our God who is always there beside us, guiding us. And because Filipinos are all resilient, we are all making ourselves positive, we are all making ourselves to have a strong spirit because that is what we are. We, Filipinos, are known to have a strong spirit in times of calamities. We had experienced numerous disasters and suffered from countless economic, social, and political problems. Nonetheless, we stood up again and continued to live life with acceptance. Simply because, there is no other spirit like the Filipino spirit.
Despite the havoc and destruction of both natural and man-made calamities, Filipinos are seen standing up with a smile on their faces. Resiliency as one of the most admirable traits of Filipinos uplift everyone's spirit amidst life's difficulties and trails.

ICT or Information and Communication Technology is one of my favorite subject because it gives me knowledge about computers, its hardware and software, and many more. During the first quarter, I learned everything that has connection with blogs, its meaning, types, importance, and others. I also learned the history of computer which is so very interesting to know. I also learned who were the pioneers that has connection with computer. Overall, I gained a lot of knowledge during the first quarter with this subject, ICT.
Everyday, we cannot avoid to have challenges to come in our way. When we are learning, we cannot avoid to have challenges too. During the first quarter, I have faced so many challenges like lack of time, fear of not understanding the lectures, fear of failure, and self-doubt. I have faced many more challenges but these four were overflowing everyday so I picked them up.
Challenges are like problems that are so difficult to deal with. At first, I really, really doubted myself if I could do this but I just trusted myself. When challenges have faced me, I intended to overcome those head-on. I addressed my challenges not as something bad but as necessary to get something right. I addressed challenges as a subject because I learned from it. We can learn something from our challenges. Just don't run away from it, instead, overcome it.
Moving on, I will be much more active and lively. I will give my 100% effort to this subject for the next 7 months. I will study harder. I will trust myself more. I will not doubt myself anymore. I will help myself to learn more. I will overcome the challenges that will be on my way and lastly, I will pass this subject with a smile.

Gawing Sentro Sa Buhay Nating Mga Pilipino Ang Wikang Filipino
